Wrap Up

August 2019 Wrap Up

Nobody touch me. I’m still mourning the fact that it’s the end of the summer. Excuse me, where did it go?!

This month, I went to New York with my friend and had a reunion with another friend there; I helped plan a successful summer party for work; Taylor Swift’s new album came out and it’s been the only thing I’ve listened to; I went to see Waitress the musical and now all I want to do is belt out “She Used to be Mine”; and I went to my first #FuckUpNightsTO event to hear successful women talk candidly about their failures.

And while I didn’t get to read as much as I wanted to, I’m looking forward to what autumn brings!

Now here’s what I read in August:

Wrap Up

June 2019 Wrap Up

We’re halfway through the year! Isn’t that wild?

June was another great month. The Raptors won the NBA championships and I’ve never seen Toronto vibrate with that kind of energy; I attended my first wedding in my friend group; I met Fredrik Backman and he signed my copy of Beartown; and I got approved for some ARCs that I never thought I’d get!

As for reading? It definitely wasn’t my most successful month, but I was lucky enough to read some fantastic ARCs!

Here’s what I read in June:
