“The clinic, the doctors, the nurses were all exactly the same, but nevertheless the colors seemed brighter, the people warmer, the shadows softer. There was no flicker of nerves dancing in my stomach, no shallow, tight breaths. And I knew why. She was sitting beside me, so close our shoulders almost touched, waiting with me for my number to be called.”

Summer has come and gone. And I know that because Starbucks officially brought PSLs back and that means fall is officially here!

It’s time to bring out my cozy sweaters from storage and to cuddle up with some good books and a cup of tea as the colder weather comes.

Here’s my September TBR:

Wrap Up

August 2019 Wrap Up

And while I didn’t get to read as much as I wanted to, I’m looking forward to what autumn brings!

Now here’s what I read in August:

What if reality (as perceived) were simply an extension of the self? Wouldn’t that color the way each individual experiences the world? That might explain why some people get along so effortlessly, while others don’t. Although people do keep trying.Yet, despite such predisposition, maybe one person’s construction of the world, could influence someone else’s.”
