Wrap Up

May 2019 Wrap Up

Hi, internet bookworms!

May was another incredible month. I saw Michelle Obama speak about her novel, Becoming; I received my first physical copy of a book (Machines Like Me by Ian McEwan) by request from a publisher; Lisa See very kindly replied to my email gushing to her about how much I love her books; and I participated in my first readathon!

I had so much fun that I definitely want to try another one in the future. If you’re a huge readathon person, let me know which ones you love to participate in! I’d love to attempt the 24 hour readathon someday.

Here’s what I read in May:

      1. I like bubble tea too haha 🙂 It would be very hard to choose a favourite flavour! I haven’t heard of the Poppy War before but I’ll definitely keep it in mind 🙂
